– Chloé, get the backpacks ready. Today we will visit the city of Aveiro. – said Anna.
– I heard that Aveiro is similar to the Venice in Italy.
– Yes, we could take a boat trip as well. – said Anna.
– Our tour won’t be in the simple boat, they have a very characteristic name, they are called Moliceiros boats.

The main square of Aveiro, the moliceiros boats and the Aveiro Lagoon all together bring us to a magical city. The contrast between the older and more modern buildings brings us back to a different time.
The traditional Portuguese food is one of the strong points for those who visit our country. In Aveiro, soft eggs are a delight, but the “kisses” that are covered with chocolate, in my opinion, it’s where I lose my self.
– We could try the sweet “guts” of Aveiro. – Anna said with a smile.
– Well, I’m going to eat some “guts” from Aveiro with Nutella.
– You don’t know what you lose in not trying with soft eggs.
We had our lunch with a view of the Aveiro Lagoon and just stayed there for an hour, as we were admiring the panoramic view of the main street of the city.

– Chloé, prepara as mochilas. Hoje vamos visitar a cidade de Aveiro. – disse Anna.
– Dizem que a cidade de Aveiro é semelhante à cidade de Veneza, em Itália.
– Sim, podíamos fazer um passeio de barco. – respondeu Anna.
– O nosso passeio não será feito num simples barco, teem um nome muito característico, chamam-se barcos moliceiros.
A praça principal de Aveiro, os barcos moliceiros e a ria de Aveiro tudo junto transportar-nos para uma cidade mágica. O contraste entre os edifícios mais antigos e os edifícios mais modernos remete-nos para várias épocas.
A comida tradicional Portuguesa é um dos pontos fortes para quem visita o nosso País. Em Aveiro, os ovos moles são uma delícia, mas os “ beijinhos “ que são cobertos com chocolate, na minha opinião são a minha perdição.
– Podíamos experimentar as tripas doces de Aveiro. – Disse Anna, com uma um sorriso.
– Bem, eu vou comer umas tripas de Aveiro com Nutella.
– Não sabes o que perdes em não experimentar com ovos moles.
Lanchámos com vista para a ria de Aveiro e ali permanecemos durante uma hora, enquanto contemplávamos a vista panorâmica para a rua principal da cidade.
