Books

I ran my fingers over the books, feeling each story inside the coloured covers.
I could imagine them writing every preface just as I’m writing mine, scratching line after line when words did not come out as I wish they would.
For a few moments, my body became immobilised and I simply focused on what was around me.
I was truly amazed. Bicycles everywhere?

IMG_5621.JPGIMG_5612.JPG

BROOKLYN! BROOKLYN!
These words rang hard in my ears. My body reacted to them, I felt the noise of the cars the accelerated pace of the people who were around me.
I can not describe in words what my eyes saw, but it was something pleasant, an unknown sensation. There was a moment of silence, but only in my head, I was truly amazed by the beauty of this city.

“Manchester,” Dariya said in a cheerful voice.
I imagined during the trip from London to Manchester what the city would be like.
“There,” Dariya said suddenly, pointing to the city, “we are already at Piccadilly Station.
It was not the closest station to the Christmas market, however, it would only take 18 minutes on foot.
– What can we buy there? Alice announced in an catching voice.
Dariya laughed.

Porto – river Douro

img_2648img_2649

Oh city with history, Oh city full of light, Oh city of wine!
I am a witness that I could get lost in this small town, between small streets and great avenues, with houses more and more colourful and full of history through the smell of fresh paint.
Porto offers a harmonious synthesis of ancient and contemporary attractions.
A city with character, with personality, of friendly people and with a charming accent, of a beauty that I lack words to describe what I have in my soul.
